Remote Control
Lock/unlock from anywhere using your smartphone. Forget to lock up? Do it from work. Let someone in while you're away.
Activity Alerts
Get notifications when kids get home from school, when cleaners arrive, or if someone tries to break in. Know who's coming and going.
Temporary Access Codes
Create one-time codes for Airbnb guests, contractors, or dog walkers. Codes expire automatically - no need to collect keys.

Smart Lock Questions
What if my WiFi goes down?
All smart locks have backup options! Most still work with Bluetooth when WiFi is down. Many support physical keys or keypads as backup. You won't be locked out if internet fails.
What if the battery dies?
Smart locks warn you weeks before batteries die (app notifications + beeping). If batteries do die, most locks have external battery terminals you can jump-start with a 9V battery. Plus, physical key backup.
Can smart locks be hacked?
Smart locks from reputable brands (August, Schlage, Yale) use bank-level encryption. They're actually harder to hack than picking a traditional lock. Keep your app updated and use strong WiFi passwords.
Will a smart lock work on my door?
Most smart locks fit standard doors with 2-1/8" or 1-1/2" bore holes (hole for deadbolt). We measure during consultation. Unusual doors may need adapter kits, which we can install.
Can I still use physical keys?
Depends on the model! August, Kwikset, and some Yale models let you keep physical keys. Schlage Encode and some others are keyless-only. We help you choose based on your preference.
